This paper reviews the current social, legal and regulatory framework for persons with disabilities in Nigeria as well as existing models of legal empowerment that can apply to such vulnerable groups. Proposes an approach for a sustainable and effective model of legal empowerment for persons with disabilities in Nigeria.
